Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about Spechio.

General

What is Spechio? Spechio is a space booking platform that lets your team find and reserve any shared space in seconds. It eliminates double bookings, spreadsheet chaos, and the back-and-forth of figuring out what's available.

Who is Spechio for? Any organization that has shared bookable spaces — offices, schools, coworking spaces, sports facilities, event venues, parks, and more.

Is there a free trial? We don't currently offer a free trial, but you can explore the product on our demo page before subscribing.


Accounts & Access

How do I join my company's workspace? If your organization has a team email domain set up, you'll be automatically prompted to join when you sign up with your work email. Otherwise, ask your admin to send you an invitation.

Can I be a member of multiple workspaces? Currently, each account belongs to one workspace. If you need access to multiple workspaces, you'll need separate accounts.

I didn't receive my invitation email. What should I do? Check your spam folder first. If it's not there, ask your admin to resend the invitation from the Team tab. Invitations expire after 7 days.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it? Go to the login page and click Forgot password? Enter your email and we'll send you a reset link.


Bookings

Can two people book the same space at the same time? No. Spechio checks for conflicts in real time. If a slot is taken, it won't be available to book.

Can I book a space on behalf of someone else? You can add colleagues as attendees when making a booking, but the booking will be made under your account.

Can I book recurring time slots? Recurring bookings are not currently supported. Each booking must be made individually.

Why can't I book a past time? Spechio prevents bookings in the past to keep calendars clean and accurate.

What happens if a space I booked gets cancelled? You'll receive a cancellation email with details and any notes from the admin. Head back to the Spaces page to find an alternative.


Spaces

Why don't I see any spaces? Your workspace admin may not have added spaces yet, or all spaces may currently be set to inactive. Contact your admin.

What does it mean when a space requires approval? Some spaces are configured to require admin approval before a booking is confirmed. Your booking will show as Pending until an admin reviews it.

Can I see who booked a space? Members can only see whether a time slot is available or not — not who booked it. Admins can see full booking details in the dashboard.


Admin

How many spaces can I add? This depends on your plan: Starter allows up to 10 spaces, Growth up to 25, and Business is unlimited. See Plans & Billing.

What happens to bookings when I deactivate a space? Spechio will show you all affected upcoming bookings before you proceed. You can export the list as a CSV to notify those people, then cancel all bookings in one action.

Can I set blackout dates when spaces aren't available? Yes. Admins can set blackout dates (one-time, weekly recurring, or monthly recurring) from the Admin Dashboard to block off periods when spaces should not be bookable.


Billing

What payment methods do you accept? All major credit and debit cards via Stripe.

Can I get an invoice? Yes. Contact hello@spechio.com and we'll provide access to your Stripe billing portal where all invoices are available.

Do you offer annual billing? Currently we offer monthly billing only. Annual plans are coming soon.
