Understanding Analytics

Use Spechio's analytics dashboard to track room usage and optimize your spaces.

The Admin Dashboard → Analytics tab gives you a clear picture of how your spaces are being used. Use it to make smarter decisions about your real estate.

Key Metrics

The analytics dashboard shows 8 KPI cards at a glance:

  • Total Bookings — number of bookings made in the selected period
  • Active Rooms — how many rooms are currently online
  • Total Members — size of your workspace
  • Avg. Meeting Duration — how long meetings typically run
  • Utilization Rate — percentage of available room-hours that were booked
  • Peak Hour — the busiest booking time of day
  • Most Booked Room — your most in-demand space
  • Top Booker — the team member with the most bookings

Charts

Below the KPI cards you'll find visual breakdowns:

  • Bookings over time — see trends by day or week
  • Bookings by day of week — identify which days are busiest
  • Room utilization comparison — see which rooms are heavily used vs. underused
  • Meeting duration breakdown — understand how long your team's meetings run

What to Look For

Underused rooms — if a room consistently shows low utilization, consider whether it's the right size, well-equipped, or in a convenient location.

Overbooked rooms — if your most popular room has high demand, consider adding similar spaces to reduce contention.

Peak hours — knowing your busiest times helps you schedule maintenance windows during off-peak periods.

Utilization rate — a rate below 30% may mean you have more space than you need. Above 80% consistently means you may need more rooms.

Exporting Data

When deactivating or removing a room, you can export the list of affected bookings as a CSV file. This is useful for notifying the affected team members directly.
